1 man dead, another injured in shooting at Onelife Fitness in Alexandria, police say

ALEXANDRIA, Va (7News) — A shooting at a gym in Alexandria, Virginia, left two people injured Saturday afternoon, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Police said they responded to Onelife Fitness located at the 300 block of Hooffs Run Drive for a report of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, police said they found two men with life-threatening injuries.

The men were taken to a local hospital, where one of them later lost his life, police said.

The alleged shooter is in critical condition, police said.

There was a significant police presence on Hooffs Run Drive and Eisenhower Avenue, police said, as they continued to investigate the shooting.
