‘Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations’ at Fox Theatre

Billy Strings at Pine Knob Music Theatre

Michigan-bred bluegrass star Billy Strings returns for two shows at Pine Knob. Known for his skills on the guitar and banjo, Rolling Stone magazine named Strings one of the top 10 new country artists to watch for in 2017, and his star has been rising steadily since. ‘Tyrannosaurs – Meet the Family’ at Michigan Science Center

A new, traveling exhibit debuts at the MSC this weekend with a collection of skeleton casts, fossils and life-size displays. Created by the Australian Museum, the state-of-the-art, interactive attraction is a must-visit for any dino fan. The exhibit opens 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and runs through Jan. 12. Detroit Harvest Fest and Food Truck Rally at Detroit Riverfront

One of the largest food truck gatherings in the state, this annual fall fest has 50 trucks offering all sorts of cuisine, snacks and beverages. The Harvest Fest also has live entertainment, trick-or-treating, inflatable, hands-on crafts and free pumpkins. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sat.-Sun. $5 in advance, $8 at the gate. Glass Pumpkin Harvest Fest at Dearborn’s Glass Academy

Delicate, colorful and oh-so-decorative, the glass pumpkins made in-house by skilled artists are back for the 16th annual Glass Pumpkin Harvest Fest in Dearborn. Browse and purchase one for your home mantle or curio cabinet, and watch live glass-blowing demonstrations in the 14,000-square-foot studio. This year’s signature pumpkin is “spicy orange sparkle” with reflective, sparkling copper and orange colors. Craft Beer Stroll in Downtown Royal Oak

Average White Band at Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts

The Get Up Kids at Saint Andrew’s Hall
