At Now That’s What I Call 2024: A New Years Eve Party, relive the year that was with DJ Tanner Savage and DJ Sarah Akawa playing the top favorites from 2024. Organizers say to dress up (“glitz and glam!”). A photo booth and drink specials make sure it’ll be a special evening. Tickets cost $10-$30.

Armchair Boogie, a bluegrass, folk and funk group, are joined by folk rockers Them Coulee Boys and singer/songwriter Joseph Huber for a show full of fiddling, toe-tapping and hijinks. Tickets cost $25 in advance for general admission, $32.50 on the day of the show, and $49.50 for an opera box.

The party features two floors and two stages with regional DJs spinning all night long alongside state of the art sound and stage lighting systems. There will be a Champagne toast, balloon drop and confetti shower at midnight. Tickets start at $20.
137 W. Jefferson St., Spring Green
Slow Poke features live music all night, starting with the ’90s alt-rock band Violet Palms followed by the funk and soul of Sugar Mama and the Rent Check. Kick back in this Spring Green cabaret and celebrate from 7:30 p.m. until 1 a.m. There is no cover for the evening, but donations for the bands are encouraged.

Rock me mama like a wagon wheel all the way into 2025 at The Ivory Room Piano Bar, where live, group karaoke is the order of the evening. Bring cash and tip generously to encourage the pianists to play your favorites, from holiday classics to “Margaritaville,” “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Piano Man” (for a price). Free Champagne toast at midnight. First come, first serve for seating — the Ivory Room promises entry only, not seats. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music runs 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The club beats at Crucible’s annual combined New Year’s and birthday party known as Rebirth start at 8 p.m. and go all the way until 4 a.m. Four DJs — Matt Fanale, psych0tron, Senseless and Acideon — are scheduled to keep the music pumping. Tickets cost $20 in advance, $25 day-of.
2513 Seiferth Road
If New Year’s puts you in your feelings, consider a night at Red Rooster for “Blue Year’s Eve.” The music starts with Blues legend James Earl Tate and the 008 Band, followed by Birddog Blues Band. There will be food and drink specials — Red Rooster serves bar snacks, like cheese curds, onion rings and fries, as well as burgers — plus a toast at midnight. Tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
101 King St.
As it once again hosts the Christmas-themed Miracle on King pop-up, Lucille is decked out with baubles and string lights. On New Year’s, a $125 ticket to the Lucille Ball includes a drink upon entrance and then an open bar with craft cocktails, taps, wine and bubbles. There will be Lucille pizza and appetizers, a DJ and photo booth. The party runs 9 p.m.-1 a.m. and is for ages 21 and up.

This retro lounge is going full ’70’s for New Year’s with a “Wisco Disco” party from 9 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. DJ Nick Nice will keep things groovy as the lounge transforms into a nightclub complete with disco ball and photo booth. General admission tickets do not guarantee seating but food and drinks can be ordered at the bar. The kitchen is open until 12 a.m. Tickets cost $60.
114 E. Main St. #101, Waunakee
The Rock Around the Block bus tour wine crawl is back at its later time slot. A $100 ticket buys a bus ride to four locations: J. Henry & Sons Bourbon Tasting Room and Farm in Dane; Red & White Wine Bar in Waunakee; Rock N Wool Winery in Poynette; and Lone Girl Brewing Company. This tour includes one drink at each stop, a dinner buffet upon returning to Lone Girl, snacks on the bus and a tote bag. The wine crawl runs from 4-9 p.m. but a ticket includes entry to the brewery’s late night dance party with $20 all-you-can-drink beer, free Jell-O shots and snacks.

The multi-course prix fixe menu at Francesco Mangano’s intimate downtown Italian restaurant starts with caviar, creme fraiche and chives on a potato chip and gets more delicious from there, with lobster crepes, oyster-stuffed quail and prime tenderloin. Dinner is $125 per person, $150 with drink pairings.
1874 E. Washington Ave.
This produce-focused restaurant with a stellar wine and drinks list has a five-course prix fixe meal for $150 per person that can be prepared omnivore or vegetarian. Curated wine pairings can be added for $55. The full bar menu is also available a la carte.

Rustic Italian fare gets fancy at this downtown restaurant whose prix fixe menu has a few options for each of the five courses. Plates include tuna tartare, a lobster Cobb salad, truffle butter gnocchi, salmon, lamb chops, tiramisu and Basque cheesecake. The dinner costs $150 per person, paid at the time of reservation. Wine pairings can be added for $50 per person. Price does not include other beverages, tax or gratuity.

Chef Joe Papach’s take on upscale supper club fare will be featured on a $180 prix fixe meal that includes steak tartare, Waldorf salad, walleye Wellington, ribeye and spiced steam pudding. A sparkling toast is included.

Food Fight’s downtown steakhouse will feature a prix fixe three-course menu for $110 that includes a glass of sparkling wine. The meal starts with a choice of soup or salad and an entree, among them miso-glazed Chilean sea bass, spice-rubbed lamb and herb-roasted chicken. Dessert options include bourbon banana pudding, chocolate tres leches and carrot cake.
Appetizers, enhancements, and additional side dishes will be priced a la carte. Wine pairings are available for $45. Premium wine pairings are $75. Price does not include beverages, tax or gratuity.

James Beard Award-winning chef Tory Miller is offering up a three course meal prix fixe meal starting at $95 with an optional wine pairing for $35. The menu features several options at each course, including milk bread and Dreamfarm chèvre to start, strozzapreti hand-rolled pasta with kale and truffle sauce, pork schnitzel, jumbo sea scallops and apple tarte Tatin. Reservations are required and the meal is prepaid when reserving.
