2 people injured after car crashes into business in Murray Hill

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were taken to a hospital after crashing their car into a business in the Murray Hill area early Sunday, according to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Around 3 a.m., the car crashed into First Coast CrossFit on Edgewood Avenue.

“We have people go very quickly through here and quite loudly. But it is quite sad. Obviously, I don’t think it was intentional,” Paul Marshall, who lives in the area, said. “Sadly, it is a residential neighborhood with people going quickly to get onto I-10. Sometimes people forget that the I-10 in Roosevelt do not continue onto arterial roads and go quite quickly.”

JFRD said one of the two people injured suffered serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
