2 women’s clothing brands open stores next to each other at central Pa. shopping center

A new women’s apparel store has opened at Tanger Outlets Lancaster.

Loft opened this week in a 5,030-square-foot space at the shopping center in East Lampeter Township across from Eddie Bauer.

Loft sells a range of women’s clothing from dresses to tops and bottoms to outerwear and accessories.

And Loft’s sister brand, Ann Taylor has relocated within the shopping center to a newly renovated 4,000-square-foot space.

“Customers who know and love Ann Taylor will be excited to learn that its sister brand, Loft, is opening right next door,” Monica Trego, marketing director at Tanger Outlets Lancaster, said in a news release. “The new stores will enhance our retail mix and provide shoppers with even more options for quality fashion. We feel confident that our guests will enjoy the expanded offerings.”

Tanger Outlets Lancaster is a 377,000-square-foot center located at 311 Stanley K. Tanger Drive that includes more than 65 outlet stores including Chico’s, Kate Spade and Banana Republic. The shopping center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Some store hours may vary. Tanger Outlets Lancaster is about 45 minutes from Harrisburg.
