The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs open SEC play this week when they travel to take on the Kentucky Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Bulldogs are coming off a comfortable 48-3 victory over Tennessee Tech last week as quarterback Carson Beck racked up five passing touchdowns in the win. The Wildcats, meanwhile, were humbled in their SEC opener, losing 31-6 at home against South Carolina. According to the latest Week 3 college football odds via SportsLine consensus, Georgia is favored by 22 points on the road.
Meanwhile, the Ole Miss Rebels are set to hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Ole Miss’ explosive offense is averaging 64.0 points per game this season, which ranks first in the nation. The Rebels are favored by 21.5 points, but should you include Ole Miss in your Week 3 college football bets? Top college football predictions for Week 3
One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 3: He’s backing Alabama (-16.5) against the spread as the Tide go on the road to take on Wisconsin. He also likes the Over 49 in that matchup.
Alabama’s offense has been clicking on all cylinders early this season. The Crimson Tide are averaging 52.5 points per game, which ranks seventh in the nation. Quarterback Jalen Milroe has been extremely effective for the Crimson Tide, completing 65.7% of his passes for 394 yards and five touchdowns. He’s also recorded 22 carries for 81 yards and four scores.
The Crimson Tide are 6-0 in their last six games on the road and are 8-2 against the spread in their past 10 games against an opponent from the Big Ten. Wisconsin, meanwhile, has lost five of its last seven games against an opponent from the SEC and the Badgers are just 2-6-1 ATS in their past nine home games played on a Saturday.
