2024 Europa Pro Bodybuilding Results (LIVE UPDATES) – Fitness Volt

The 2024 Europa Pro bodybuilding is taking over London, England for a special weekend of bodybuilding action from September 14-15. This Olympia-qualifying event features contenders from Open Bodybuilding, Men’s 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Wheelchair, Bikini, Women’s Bodybuilding, Figure, Fitness, Women’s Physique, and Wellness. Day One results are in and six winners walked away with gold!

The window of time for competitors to stamp their right to stand on the Mr. Olympia stage is rapidly closing. The deadline is September 15, meaning this event, alongside other shows over the weekend, served as the final opportunity for IFBB Pros to qualify for the prestigious 2024 Mr. Olympia, which is set to take place October 10-13 next month.

At the 2023 Europa Pro last year, Open star Regan Grimes pulled off a massive victory, defeating contenders Nathan De Asha and Tim Budesheim en route to winning gold. However, he’s opted not to compete this weekend, paving the way for a new champion to emerge. Find out how the event went down below:

Open Bodybuilding

The Men’s Open athletes quickly hit the stage eager to make statements considering this was their final opportunity to qualify for this year’s Olympia. Bruno Santos’ muscle separation along with his conditioning levels stood out immediately. In addition, it was clear his quad definition reached new levels. Santos came into this show with momentum, laying claim to third place at the recent 2024 Promuscle Italy Pro won by Hunter Labrada.

But fan-favorite Andrea Presti brought his usual diced conditioning levels, which led to a close battle on stage. His striated glutes had fans talking online about him possibly pushing for gold. Presti defeated Santos in his last contest at the 2024 Promuscle Italy Pro, so most figured he’d be a surefire favorite to win the title. Thanks to the dramatic improvements made to Bruno Santos’ physique, he secured the victory. Presti finished second and Lewis Breed took third place.

Men’s Physique

It was another thrilling affair in the Men’s Physique category. Among the top names aiming to take home gold was Alessandro Cavagnola, who commanded the stage, especially during quarter turns and any time the judges called for front or back relaxed shots. He last competed and won at the 2024 Promuscle Italy Pro, boasting a look complemented by his dug-in midsection and wide lats.

Cavagnola faced heavy resistance on stage in the form of Tunaha Guler. Guler’s muscle definition and peaky biceps gave him an edge in certain poses, making this contest close in the eyes of the judges. It had been a while since we saw Guler in action, who last took fourth place at the 2023 T.R.U. Athlete Pro contest. By the time the scores were tallied, Alessandro Cavagnola and Tunahan Guler took first and second place. Adeyemi Awoyemi rounded out the podium in third.
