2024 Market Common veterans’ Women’s Expo unites vendors, fashion, empowerment
THE MARKET COMMON, S.C. (WPDE) — Ladies in the Market Common enjoyed a day of fun, empowerment, and celebration.
Market Common veterans held their Gurlz Just Want to Have Fun 2024 Women’s Expo.
The event featured an eco-friendly fashion show presented by New Direction, live music, and a silent auction.

There were also more than 40 vendors offering a wide array of products and services tailored to women’s interests
“We did so many collaborations here at Market Common with the artists, whether it was fashion, or it was what you see behind us, or maybe something they bought today. It was beautiful love energy,” said Tony Marra, the Creative Director for Market Common Veterans.
The bulk of the money collected will go to New Directions.
The event took place at the General Robert H. Reed Recreation Center.
