The 2024 Paris Olympics continued on Wednesday, which was another busy day in the pool in particular.

On the medal front, France captured gold as the women’s triathlon finally got underway in the Seine, while in the pool, Léon Marchand completed an unprecedented double. Katie Ledecky unsurprisingly dominated the 1500-meter freestyle, while Torri Huske surprised with her 100-meter freestyle silver medal. China’s Pan Zhanle also broke his own world record while winning gold in the men’s 100 free.

Elsewhere in Paris, in a thrilling performance at the Place de la Concorde, Team USA’s Parris Benegas leaped onto the podium as Hannah Roberts struggled in BMX freestyle.
