2024 World Series odds: Where teams standing heading into MLB Division Series

The Dodgers remain the World Series favorites heading into the division series round, but the New York Yankees are right on their tail.

Los Angeles is sitting at +350 at DraftKings Sportsbook to win it all as of Friday afternoon, which is just a smidge ahead of the Bronx Bombers, who are sitting at +370.

The pair have some company in the top three — the Phillies aren’t far off their marks at +450 as they take on the Mets in a best-of-five set.

The upstart Padres, who are looking to pull off an upset of the Dodgers during the NLDS, are +650.

The Royals and Guardians, the Yankees’ biggest competition in the junior circuit in the eyes of oddsmakers, are locked at +850.

DraftKings has the Tigers and Mets pegged as the biggest long shots to win the World Series at +950.

2024 World Series odds

Before the wild-card round, the Yankees had been a big favorite in the American League, but faced some stiff competition on odds boards in the Astros and Orioles.

Both of those teams were upset, allowing the Bombers to become even bigger favorites on that side of the bracket.

The Dodgers also got a bit of help when the Braves were eliminated, but their two top competitors — the Phillies and Padres — remain alive.
