PEORIA (25News Now) – The Peoria City will add a Women’s Premier Soccer League team that will start play in May of 2025. The Peoria Rivermen draw a Rivermen SPHL record crowd of 8,846 in their Education Day win over Evansville. #9 Illinois Wesleyan routs #2 Wash U of St Louis. Plus, Peoria Manual boys and Normal Community and Eureka girls are hoops winners.
