250 incentive travel professionals gathered for SITE Classic 2024

The 17th SITE Classic in Miami Beach drew 250 professionals, focusing on collaboration, innovation, and fundraising, raising $232,000 for industry growth.

MIAMI BEACH, FLA. – The 17th annual SITE Classic concluded at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, with more than 250 incentive travel professionals gathering in-person to connect, learn and discover a dazzling destination that blends urban sophistication with natural coastal beauty.

“In response to the evolving needs of our industry and invaluable feedback from our loyal attendees, SITE Classic has undergone a thoughtful and strategic re-imagination,” said Annette Gregg, CMM, MBA, SITE CEO. “Our goal is for SITE Classic to transcend being just an event, becoming a catalyst for collaborative innovation and long-term impact within the industry.”

“This year, we introduced “shape” as a new event design pillar, giving incentive travel professionals a platform to actively influence the future direction of our industry. A key outcome of SITE Classic will be a legacy white paper, channelling the collective wisdom, knowledge, and expertise of our attendees. This document will offer valuable insights to guide the purpose and trajectory of incentive travel for years to come,” Gregg concluded.

“We are immensely grateful to have had the opportunity to host SITE Classic at Fontainebleau Miami Beach this past week. Welcoming 250 leading incentive travel professionals to experience our iconic luxury resort and destination was a fantastic way to culminate our 70th anniversary,” said Austin Bagwell, Executive Vice President, Hospitality Sales, Fontainebleau Development. “Whether your company plans to host your next incentive for 10 or 1,500, we look forward to welcoming you soon and aiding in the growth of your business. On behalf of all of our 2,000 Fontainebleau team members it was an honor to have you as our guests and we hope that lasting memories were created.”

With SITE Classic also serving as the premier fundraising event for SITE Foundation, this week’s event raised an impressive $232,000 USD through both silent and live auctions, with prizes generously donated by attendees.

With over $10 million USD already invested in the incentive travel industry, funds raised in Miami Beach will enable SITE Foundation to continue supporting key initiatives, including education and professional development, research and content creation, as well as grants, scholarships, and other activities that drive industry growth and innovation.

“Incentive travel and group business are at the heart of what we do best at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. In recent years, we’ve invested over $250 million in upgrading our rooms, meeting spaces, and culinary offerings. We’re also excited to open our new 50,000-square-foot Coastal Convention Center by the end of this year. Hosting the SITE Classic was a pleasure, and we look forward to welcoming all attendees, clients, and businesses back soon,” said Philip Goldfarb, COO, Fontainebleau Development.

SITE Classic 2025 will take place from August 25–28 at the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua.
