288-unit apartment complex to be built near sports complex

BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) – A developer will soon break ground on another upscale residential community in north Bettendorf.

Continental Properties will build Authentix Bettendorf, a garden-style residential community at Forest Grove Drive and International Drive, near the TBK Bank Sports Complex, according to its announcement.

The community will feature 288 apartment homes.

Authentix Apartments will offer on-site maintenance, a pool, a community clubhouse with a coffee bar, an outdoor grill area, a 24-hour fitness center, and a dog park with a pet spa.

All Authentix Apartments are pet-friendly with no weight limit.

Eric Gumm, Continental Properties vice president of acquisitions, said residents will be part of a “vibrant community” with access to the sports complex’s retail, dining and entertainment as well nearby large employers like Genesis, Amazon, and Quad City Bank.

The business already has Springs of Bettendorf 2 miles away at Devils Glen Road and 53rd Avenue.

Interested residents can visit the property in winter 2024 and view apartment finishes and floor plan options in winter 2024. There are studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom floorplans. Move-ins are expected in spring 2025.

According to its website Continental Properties has developed over 125 apartment communities with more than 33,000 apartment homes in 19 states.
