3 Fully Remote Jobs Hiring Now In 2024
If you’re like most jobseekers, you’re probably tired of searching for remote jobs, only to discover that they are not actually fully remote but require hybrid remote flexibility to come into the office several days each month.
While that arrangement might work for some people, you prefer a 100% remote job because you know it would not be practical to come into the office with that level of frequency, due to time for commute, family and personal commitments, and of course, financial constraints.
If you’re currently searching for fully remote work and came across this article, here is some good news for you: despite appearances, remote work is not waning or going anywhere. There are still employers who are currently advertizing for remote roles, and here are a few household names to note below:
1. Remote Product Manager Technical Expert, Allstate
The product manager technical expert role at American insurance company Allstate was just released on the careers page of their website on September 9, making this a fairly new requisition. Additionally, Allstate appears to be hiring for several positions within product management, such as senior product owner for digital products, lead digital product manager, and condo insurance product manager—all of which were released on their careers site on the same date.
One of the interesting things about this household name company is that they are very transparent about expectations of the role and their stance on the values they hold, which they promote internally as well as in their customer promise.
2. Senior Marketing Manager Events (Remote Or Hybrid), Target
Another fully remote job you should look out for that is hiring at the moment is the role of senior marketing manager, which Target is offering on their Target careers site with flexible options of being remote, or as a mix of in-office and virtual attendance. With an advertized pay range between $89,700 and $161,500, this position is perhaps best suited for you if you have project management and more than five years of marketing experience.
According to Glassdoor, more than 50% of employees at Target would recommend their workplace to a friend. However it is always worth investigating why others would not recommend a company before pursuing a job application, such as with Target for example. It would be a good idea to network with other Target employees who work remotely, on platforms such as LinkedIn (which is the easiest place to find them) so that you can see what the work culture is like when pursuing a career at Target. Accolades such as Fortune’s 100 Best Companies To Work For 2024 list, in which Target came in 65th place, can help you in shaping your decision.
3. Remote Regional Account Executive, Walgreens
Walgreens is advertizing several remote roles—at least 10 or more at the time of writing, and a few of these include their regional account executive positions, which are remote. However you will need to bear in mind, as with any other employer, that unless otherwise indicated, the remote positions are restricted to that particular state or location due to recruitment and HR regulations, so you cannot simply assume that being fully remote means that you can work from any location in the country or int he world.
For their account executive roles, they list South Carolina, Nashville Tennessee, and southern Florida as prime locations, as well as a regional account manager role in southern Philadelphia, affording you with several options if you have account management experience.
As you can see, you don’t need to search too far to locate a remote job. Sometimes, as with the roles listed above, your dream remote job and employer is literally just around the corner. It could already be a part of your community, and consequently, overlooked as something you might not have initially considered. Who knows where your next remote role might be?
