3M Open Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Plays – July 27th, 2024

There are two more rounds left from TPC Twin Cities in Blaine! Today, the wind really made a statement and stacked the leaderboard massively. In round three, expect the wind to be a factor yet again. There may be some scores to be had in the morning rounds, but I expect them to be tougher in the afternoon. Here are my 3M Open Underdog plays!

3M Open Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Plays – July 27th, 2024

Sahith Theegala higher than 5 birdies

Theegala could not get anything going in round two, but I really expect him to bounce back in a big way on a moving day. At the core, Theegala is a birdie maker and will get the ball in the hole one way or another. On a very volatile course like this, birdies will be made, and Sahith will not shy away from making them.

He is a very aggressive golfer and will fire at every flag he sees. I also love the fact that he is going out before the wind really picks up in the afternoon. Look for him to make some noise in Saturday’s round.

Andrew Novak Lower Than 69.5 Strokes

Novak played very solid in round two but once the wind picked up, he went on an ugly bogey run. Sadly for him, he will have a tee time on the later side since he finished early on Friday. He has shown great signs this season, but his recent form has not been great. Fading Andrew Novak can be a great addition to your Underdog Fantasy Pick’em slip in round three of the 2024 3M Open.
