40,000 square foot expansion underway at Hilldale Shopping Center
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Hilldale Shopping Center in Madison is saying hello to four new business in the coming months.
The expansion project is happening in the old AMC Theatre space, totaling 40,000 square feet. This expansion will include the additions of Warby Parker, Sephora, Sweetgreen, and Jaxen Grey.
The first of the four businesses to open their doors will be Warby Parker. With a grand opening date set for Saturday, November 23. Warby Parker is relocating to Hilldale from State Street. They offer affordable, high-quality eyewear and will also be offering in-store eye exams too.
At the grand opening on Saturday, they will be offering 15% off to customers who buy two or more prescription glasses, as well as giving away tote bags with any eyewear purchase while supplies last.
The other three businesses are set to open in 2025, though exact dates have not yet been released.
To encourage local shopping and kick-off the holiday shopping season, Sunday, November 24 Hilldale will be having a North Pole Party. This will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and there will be live reindeer, Santa, early Black Friday deals, treats, UW-Madison marching band as well as a special tree lighting ceremony.
