48 Sports Preseason Previews: Arab

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Kyle Routon era is officially underway for the Arab High School Football team.

The Knights promoted the former Assistant coach at Arab replacing Lee Ozmint. Arab won the Class 5A Region 8 Championship in 2022, and have reach the post season four straight seasons.

“This is my fifth year at Arab,” Routon said. “We’re really excited about what we got coming up. Talk to these guys. And really not just maintaining where we’re at, because we want to get better, but we want to maintain the culture that these guys help build.”

Arab faces Albertville Thursday August 22nd in Week Zero.
