5 Fashion Trends Every Woman in Nantucket Is Wearing This Summer

As an East Coast native, I can confidently say there’s nothing quite like a New England summer. The crisp mornings that melt away by noon, the salty sea that never quite loses its chill, the Atlantic oysters, ice-cold rosé and sweet lobster rolls that round out every roadside menu. Though I grew up on the shores of New Jersey, I spent many summers up north, just off the coast of Massachusetts, with family, friends and friends-of-friends in places like Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and—most recently—Nantucket.

While wandering through the cobblestone streets of “The Grey Lady” (as people lovingly call this small plot of land just south of the Cape), I was struck by the charming beauty of both the cedar-shingled homes that dot the island and the well-dressed vacationers who inhabit them.
