50 new jobs coming to Muhlenberg Co.
GREENVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) – Central Screen Printing is expanding and adding new jobs.
Muhlenberg Alliance for Progress shared the announcement.
They say it’s a $1 million expansion that includes new machinery and 50 new jobs over the next three years.
Economic officials say the company was awarded by the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA), $850,000 in incentives to be used over the next 15 years to help offset some of the costs.
They say since the approval of the project by KEDFA on April 25, the company has already hired eight more employees.
“We are grateful to the Commonwealth for making it possible to have these incentives to help our business grow to the next level. Thanks to MEGA and the team for helping us through the process,” said Josh Randall, CEO of Central Screen Printing.
“We appreciate and support the effort of our local entrepreneurs such as the Randall family; who has taken a vision and made it into a thriving business. Their business is vital to the economic health of our community in providing jobs and income to residents. Central Screen Printing is boosting our economy with the influx of wealth from other places, as they are a global company. Now we are celebrating their continuing effort to expand local business in Muhlenberg County. Congratulations to them on their new expansion! “, said Mack McGehee, Muhlenberg County Judge Executive.
