If you haven’t started putting that phrase into rotation this time of year, maybe you should start by taking a trip this autumn. That’s because there are tons of travel packages, airline deals to certain locations and combinations of the two that can be taken advantage of only at this time of year to help you save money on your travels.

GOBankingRates asked several travel experts about the best fall travel deals to jump on, both in the U.S. and abroad. But you had better hurry and book up quick before they are gone and you are left out in the cold.

Amsterdam

Looking for a change of scenery during the fall? Then you might want to set your sights on Europe, where there are lots of deals for travel currently available. As Rocky Trifari, owner of The Rocky Safari, recently discovered, there are quite a few discounted flights to Amsterdam.

“For example, I found one route from New Jersey (EWR) to AMS listed at 46% off!” Trifari said. “It’s about $502 today, where normally this route would be closer to $930. The dates are November 15-November 22.”

Puglia, Italy

Looking for a rustic feel that’s also a change-up from what you might find in the 50 states? Why not get a farmhouse for you, your family or your friends in Italy? Right now, the Egnezia Farmhouse is available for seven nights for just about $8,864.

Cancún, Mexico

“You can fly from Austin, Texas (AUS) to Cancún (CUN) for 41% off if you’re able to travel November 17-November 22,” Trifari said. He noted how this particular flight is priced around $376 but normally would cost somewhere in the range of $640.

Dublin

The leaves on the trees might be changing colors and falling to the ground where you live soon, but there is one place that is famous for its green landscapes almost all year round: Ireland. And right now, you can take advantage of a flight to Dublin for more than half off, according to Trifari.

“You can fly from Chicago (ORD) to Dublin, Ireland, for 51% off if you’re able to travel during November 19-November 26,” Trifari said. “The current cost is about $438, much less than the typical $930 route.”

Park City, Utah

If you are looking to stay stateside and hoping for some early snow to powder the mountains so you can hit the slopes, consider booking the Oak Haven chalet in Park City, home of the “greatest snow on earth.”

“The festive season is such an important time of year for getting together with family or friends. Osaka, Japan

If you are craving a change of pace that is completely different from the United States, look no further than Japan. In fact, you do not have to settle for looking at it — you can fly there this fall for a great rate.

Trifari pointed out that you can take a flight from Los Angeles (LAX) to Osaka (KIX) for 47% off at an estimated cost of $777.

“That’s a route that usually costs about $1,480! The dates for this deal are November 25-December 5,” Trifari said.
