Each year, fashion enthusiasts everywhere elevate their style for the holiday season, dressing to the nines in glamorous outfits adorned with dazzling sparkles, rich textures, cozy layers, and vibrant colors. This festive period becomes the perfect opportunity to experiment with bold statements and creative combinations that capture the magic of the most wonderful time of the year.
When it comes to crafting the ultimate holiday wardrobe, Retrofête just gets it. Known for its show-stopping designs, Retrofête has become synonymous with celebratory dressing. “The brand was founded with the intention of creating emotional pieces for life’s biggest moments and celebrations,” creative director Ohad Seroya tells StyleCaster. “We gravitate towards sequins, crystal embellishments, and over-the-top silhouettes—which naturally became a go-to for occasion dressing, especially around the holiday season.”
For the 2024 holiday season, the brand drew inspiration from the 1960’s, particularly the iconic New York society “Swans.” This was realized through bubble hemlines, fur-trimmed details, jewel-toned hues, and shift silhouettes. Furthermore, the 2024 holiday collection feeds off this idea that glamour is back. “We’ve noticed people are much more daring and willing to take risks with their style during this season,” Seroya explains.
In addition to occasion dressing, the newest Retrofête collection emphasizes versatility—especially amid fall and winter. “While events are at the forefront, the collection still caters to everyday winter dressing—through luxurious knitwear, signature denim, and going-out tops. Consumers can curate their wardrobe for the whole season to come,” Seroya explains. This duality makes the 2024 holiday collection not only ideal for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s Eve but also for more casual moments throughout the chilly season. “We encourage them [the customer] to carry this energy and sparkle into everyday dressing, even after the holiday season is over,” Seroya shares. This sentiment is explored through an “après” influence. “With ski style on the rise, you will find lots of fur mixed with other textures and a bit of a western feel for winter travel destinations,” Seroya shares. “We introduce more winter whites, suede sets, denim, and knitwear that is perfect for all wintertime travel.”
With a collection that embraces bold, magnetic energy, and timeless appeal, Retrofête solidifies its place as the ultimate brand for holiday dressing and beyond. Whether it’s for a festive occasion or everyday winter styling, these pieces are designed to shine all season long. Keep reading to discover the standout trends and must-have pieces that define the season—straight from Retrofête’s creative director.
