76th Emmy Awards nominations: Watch livestream for second ceremony in 2024

Get ready for the second Emmy Awards of 2024.

Nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmys will be announced Wednesday by actors Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale in Hollywood, to producers, actors and writers for best comedy, drama, limited series and TV movie, among others. (You can watch the livestream below at 11:30 a.m. EDT/8:30 PDT).

The winners will be announced Sept. 15 (ABC, 8 EDT/5 PDT), exactly eight months after the 75th Primetime Emmys were presented on Fox, which were postponed due to last year’s writers’ and actors’ strikes.

In January, FX’s “The Bear” and HBO’s “Succession” tied for the most wins with six awards each. But since the dysfunctional family drama ended in spring 2023, the field is open to succeed the Roys as best drama. Will FX’s “Shogun” fill the void? And will “The Bear” still roar the loudest for best comedy?

Eligible programs aired between June 1, 2023, and May 31 of this year in all categories.

ABC has not yet named a host for September (Anthony Anderson emceed January’s show on Fox). The show will be broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater and streams the next day on Hulu.
