A field of 87 cars will assemble for the 11th edition of the Lamborghini World Finals event, held at Spain’s Circuito de Jerez.
As part of the traditional end-of-season event for the Italian manufacturer, competitors from Europe, North America and Asia will converge to both wrap up their respective regional championships and crown world champions.
The European championship is best represented with 45 cars, with their races split between Pro/Pro-Am and Am/LB Cup as a result of the large grid size. North America (25 cars) and Asia (17 cars) will see their championships decided through a pair of conventional, four-class races.
In the European series, the headline championship battle will see Largim Ali and Oliver Soederstroem defend a 9.5-point advantage over nearest rival Amaury Bonduel in the Pro standings.
The battle for the North American Pro championship, meanwhile, is due to be settled in a three-way fight as TR3 Racing pairing Ernie Francis Jr and Giano Taurino sit twelve points clear of Nico Jamin and Kiko Porto with Danny Formal and Ryan Norman a further point behind.
Dan Wells, meanwhile, leads the Asian Pro standings by ten points over Hon Chio Leong and Miki Koyama.
Once the regional championships have been decided, Saturday and Sunday will then see a double-header to determine the World Finals, with all regional crews competing together in combined Pro/Pro-Am and Am/LB Cup qualifying and races.
