United Way of Marquette County hosts Business After Hours

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WJMN) – United Way of Marquette County held a Business After Hours Tuesday evening at the Ore Dock Brewing Company.

This networking event allows professionals to make business contacts, spend time with coworkers, and more. United Way encourages business professionals to attend and bring multiple business cards to hand out to potential connections.

“So today we’ve got our business after hours,” said Andrew Rickauer, the Executive Director of United Way of Marquette County. “It’s a celebration of the campaign, but also in partnership with our Media Consortium. So really bringing the community together through, you know, our media partners, but also the local nonprofits that we help, work with,  and fundraise for. It’s important to really showcase what we do and some of the impacts that we have on the community and to really bring people together. That’s really what the night away is about, bringing people together to help the overall community And it’s a great way to bring people together.”
