Six sisters set a world record for their combined ages — more than 570 years

Six sisters who grew up together in Farmington, Missouri, have now lived so long that their combined ages this year set a Guinness World Record.

Their ages on March 6 totaled 570 years and 43 days, setting the global record for six living siblings. The Guinness record-keepers confirmed the record on May 30 and notified the sisters.

From left, sisters Norma Jacob, Lorene Kollmeyer, Maxine Cole, Doris Griffith, Margaret Norton and Elma Jennings stand together in July 2021. The sisters recently set a Guinness World Record for the highest combined ages of six living siblings.

The oldest, Norma, is 101. The next, Lorene, turns 99 on July 13.
