Travel around the world in this year’s Artown Festival

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) –Artown Festival kicks July 1 and is set to present over 650 events, with more than 70% free. Executive Director Beth Macmillan highlights the festival’s growth, showcasing diverse talents from local and international artists.

She also dives into this year’s Little Book, which expanded to 116 pages with 55,000 copies (including 5,000 in Spanish), and serves as a comprehensive guide.

It’s available at Nevada State Bank branches, Port of Subs locations, Washoe County Libraries, Raley’s grocery stores, and online at Artown.org.

The festival spans Reno, Sparks, Virginia City, Carson City, and Incline Village, emphasizing local creativity and global connections.
