MoCo Minute | Area nonprofit helps women business owners in food and beverage industry

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — “Regarding Her,” a nonprofit organization, is launching its second annual academy to support women-owned businesses in the food and beverage industry. The 10-week program offers free membership, applications, and participation, aiming to accelerate the growth of women entrepreneurs.

The initiative includes in-depth learning and 20 cash grants of $5,000 each for women-identifying hospitality business owners in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Tiffany MacIsaac from “Regarding Her” highlighted the ongoing challenges in the restaurant industry and the importance of this support network.

The program culminates in a summit where 100 women from the community can connect and gain valuable education and resources.
