Just about every day a different car is going extinct. Think about the last time you saw a Saturn SL2, a Dodge Neon or a Mitsubishi Galant. Sometimes cars are just not built to last, and that’s what brings me to today’s question.

I want you all to use your crystal ball and predict what car you think will be gone from U.S. roads in the next 10 years. What car, in 2034, will you suddenly think of and say to yourself, “Huh, it’s been a while since I’ve seen one of those.

I think there will be an obvious smattering of economy cars that are plentiful on the roads right now that’ll be gone in 10 years time, but my big prediction is that most of the electric vehicles we currently see on the streets will be junked before the next decade comes around. It’s a bold prediction, I know.

Now, I’m not saying that EVs will be gone altogether. Not at all – I think the market share of EVs will just continue to increase year over year. However, I think the current batch of first and second-generation EVs will be pretty much gone once better stuff starts rolling out. That’s simply because a lot of this tech is in its infancy, and better stuff will soon be coming down the pipeline. I don’t know. I’m no expert… or am I?

Anyway, why don’t you all hop down below and let us know what cars you think will be completely off the road in just 10 years time?
