Louisiana Sports Hall of Famers show off personalities at Bowling Bash

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame held it’s annual bowling event at Four Seasons Bowling Alley on Friday.

Chicago Bears Quarterback Coach Kerry Joseph showed out rolling a 200 game, an LSHOF record.

The event is a chance for the inductees to have fun and interact with fans in attendance.

“It doesn’t get too much better. We’re out here bowling with other Hall of Famers, people I haven’t met before but I follow their careers,” said Olympic Gold Medalist and former LSU Wrestler Kevin Jackson. “How they do things in Louisiana, how the Hall of Fame treats us is first class all the way.”

The mutual respect between the inductees was on display at the bowling center.

“I think the most important thing is I’m talking to a legendary coach,” said Joseph while being interviewed by Grambling Baseball Coaching legend Wilbert Ellis who was conducting interviews for KTAL Sports. “You know, I think about the history of Gramling State University to be able to be a part of this event and get interviewed by you. I think it’s awesome.”

The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday evening starting at 7 p.m. in Natchitoches, La.
