Willie Nelson ‘not feeling well,’ set to miss first few dates of tour

TEXAS — Willie Nelson has reportedly missed the opening night of the “Outlaw Music Festival Tour 2024.”

The 91-year-old singer took to social media to share that he is not feeling well and is under doctor’s orders to rest over the next four days.

The statement says, “We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor’s orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days. He is expected to make a quick recovery and join the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.”

The “Outlaw Music Festival Tour” started at Ameris Bank Amphitheater in Alpharetta, Georgia, on June 21. The tour will then move to Charlotte, North Carolina, on June 22; Raleigh, North Carolina, on June 23 and will resume in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on June 26 after a brief break.

Lukas Nelson and the Family Band will be doing a special set in place of Willie Nelson.
