Michelle Williams Channels Effortless French Style in Black Chanel Mary Jane Heels at Paris Fashion Week
Michelle Williams opted for a classic Parisian color palette when she wore an all-black ensemble at Chanel’s fall couture 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week. “The Fabelmans” actress picked out an ankle-length dress with matching heels by the French brand for the June 25 event, marking her first time attending a couture show.
The dress featured an A-line silhouette with a relatively loose top and thin straps, paired with a somewhat structured skirt. A thick band of black fabric cinched the waist, allowing the top to puff over slightly. Eight reflective buttons adorned the front, each emblazoned with the interlocking C insignia of Chanel.
The dress was primarily made of thick black material stitched with silver detailing, giving it a subtly reflective quality. The skirt also featured pockets, which Williams utilized while posing for photos.
Williams wore all-black heels featuring Chanel’s signature cap-toe design, incorporating a slightly more reflective material on the uppers. The shoes were enclosed at the back and front, with a strap across the top resembling a Mary Jane style.
Held at the historic Palais Garnier, the Chanel show featured a plethora of designs inspired by opera. Fellow Hollywood stars including Kerry Washington, Keira Knightley, Zoey Deutch, Sadie Sink and Camila Morrone were also present at the event, which took place on the second day of haute couture week. As a first-time attendee.
A longtime fan of the brand, Williams wore metallic silver pumps with a romantic white Chanel dress at the 2024 Met Gala. Earlier this year, she supported the brand when she wore a bold pair of gold boots with a black cap toe at the Independent Spirit Awards.
