Amherst summer music series entertainment line up announced
AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – Amherst is joining other cities and towns in western Massachusetts offering free musical entertainment this summer.
The Amherst Business Improvement District (BID) has announced its concert series that will run on Fridays in July from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the Town Common. Scheduled to perform are as follows:
- July 5: SPF-4 & Harvest and Rust
- July 12: Grayson Ty & TapRoots
- July 19: Jazz in July
- July 26: The No Nos & LeFever
The Amherst Community Band will be holding concerts on Saturday, July 27, and Saturday, August 17 at Sweetser Park, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Additionally, the band will also be performing with Masala Jazz, and DJ Benny Black at the fireworks display on Tuesday, July 2 at McGuirk Stadium from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. as part of the town’s Independence Day celebration.
