POINTS UPDATE: David Gravel Holds Lead Into Busy July | World of Outlaws

LATEST RACE: Cedar Lake Speedway (June 29)

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: With a third-place run at Cedar Lake Speedway – his eighth straight top-10 finish – David Gravel made another small gain on Donny Schatz to now hold a 58-point lead over the 10-time Series champion.

When racing resumes after a week break, the Series will return to Beaver Dam Raceway for the $20,000-to-win Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial on Wednesday, July 10, and then a doubleheader at Wilmot Raceway on Friday-Saturday, July 12-13. Gravel has yet to win at Beaver Dam but has four wins at Wilmot.

CLOSING THE GAP:
Logan Schuchart: The Hanover, PA driver scored his first win of the season at Cedar Lake Speedway and cut into the gap separating he and Michael Kofoid for fifth in the standings. Schuchart gained 12 points on the rookie and now sits 32 points behind him. He’s 180 points back from the lead.

Landon Crawley: With an 11th-place run at Cedar Lake and Brock Zearfoss suffering a mechanical issue before the start of the Feature, Landon Crawley gained 26 points on the Series veteran. The Rookie of the Year contender is now 104 points back from Zearfoss for ninth in points.
