Walmart+ memberships are 50% off ahead of Walmart’s huge summer sale
Walmart is slashing the price of its annual Walmart+ membership in half with a major deal that won’t be live for long.
From July 5 through July 18, you can score a Walmart+ membership for the year for $49, instead of $98 — a total 50% in savings.
Walmart+ has perks of its own, but this discount is especially timely with upcoming “July Walmart Deals” right around the corner. The blowout event kicks off on July 5 at 12 p.m. EST, which the retailer says is its largest savings event ever.
Customers can shop several deals on popular items from electronics, home, toys, travel and more through July 11 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
But if you’re a Walmart+ member you can get a head start on the savings before anyone else.
If you sign up for an annual Walmart+ membership with this limited-time deal, you’ll be able to secure 5-hour Early Access to the hot online deals. You can accomplish a lot with those five extra hours by grabbing trending products, like Dyson cordless vacuums, GE nugget ice makers and Keurig single-serve iced coffee makers, before they sell out.
The current $49 deal for a full year of Walmart+ is only available to new, expired, monthly and current Walmart+ 30-day trial members. The deal excludes members through Walmart+ Assist or those with InHome Delivery or Paramount+ with Showtime.
If you’re a 30-day trial member, your year-long promotional term will begin immediately, and however many days left in your free trial will be forfeited. Once your promotional term ends, your Walmart+ plan will auto-renew at the traditional $98 per year.
Following your Early Access opportunities to Walmart Deals, you can enjoy regular Walmart+ benefits, including free grocery delivery, no shipping minimums, fuel discounts saving you 10 cents per gallon, Paramount+ streaming, auto care, 5% back on travel, Mobile Scan & Go access and early, exclusive access to ongoing sales events.
