AURORA, IL — The City of Aurora is continuing Fourth of July celebrations with a music series as part of July First Fridays.

The Glow Up music series occurs on the first Friday of each summer month. The program began June 7 and will run through Sept. 6. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring the family, grab a meal and enjoy the music.

The Glow Up will take place from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Millenium Plaza, 21 S. Stolp Ave.

In July, the Downtown Charlie Brown Blues band — performing blues, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll songs — and “one of Chicagoland’s premier impersonators of Elvis are slated for the Friday series. The band will perform from 6-7:30 p.m. and again from 8-9 p.m., while the Elvis tribute will happen from 7:30-8 p.m.
