Police: One dead in Charlotte Pike shooting, multiple suspects at large

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — One person died in a shooting outside a business on Charlotte Pike, police confirm.

The victim, identified as a Hispanic male in his 30s, was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital where they were pronounced dead, Metro Police on the scene confirm to FOX 17 News.

Police say he was getting into a burgundy truck when multiple individuals started shooting at him. He attempted to run across Charlotte Pike, but there were multiple calibur weapons used.

There could have been up to 50 rounds of gunfire during what appears to be an isolated incident. Police do not believe the public is in danger.
