Trump parade travels through the MOV brings out a crowd

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – Tons of people showed up to attend the Trump Parade to support former president Donald Trump in his election campaign this year. Cars, motorcycles, trucks, semis, you name it showed up to show their support. They waved flags and dressed up patriotic for this event.

“The MOVCAC is sponsoring this parade in support of president Trump and basically the MOVCAC decided to do this right after Donald Trumps conviction and right before the sentencing to show the support for President Trump and to point out the fact that we are definitely in a two-tier justice system and this is simply as I said this is to show our support to President Donald Trump.” said Roger Conley, Volunteer.

One of the MOVCAC members explained why he believes it is important for people to participate in this or support it from the sidelines as they travel through.

“After the conviction and after the January 6th events people are afraid to speak up. People are afraid that they will be prosecuted, there are many Jan. 6th prisoners who still have not had trials. This is an opportunity for people to stand up and say we are Americans, we are allowed to speak, we are allowed to convey our feelings, convey our political beliefs, and that is what we are doing.” said Sean Keefe, MOVCAC.

The parade started in Reno and traveled through Marietta, Williamstown, Vienna, Parkersburg, Barlow, and Belpre.
