Glenville students travel to the Philippines to present about invasive species

GLENVILLE, W.Va (WDTV) – Professors and students from Glenville State University have travelled overseas to present at two separate universities in the Philippines.

Eight students and two faculty members with GSU’s Department of Land Resources made the trip.

Students presented about invasive species found in West Virginia.

The presentation allowed Glenville State students to promote GSU and ignite interest among potential international exchange students.

School officials say they were excited to use this opportunity to strengthen current relationships and foster new ones with the universities in the Philippines.
