Laredo surgeon discusses most common sports injuries
LAREDO, TX. (KGNS) – As many people prepare to get in shape for beach season, a Laredo sports medicine doctor is shedding some light on some of the most common sports injuries and how to prevent them.
Dr. Eildar Abyar said that he sees patients with joint pain, broken bones, and torn ACL’s.
Dr. Abyar said the best way to keep your joints healthy is by exercising in moderation and with a high protein diet.
Growing up, we’re always told that milk builds strong bones, which Dr. Abyar said is true.
Whenever an athlete believes that they heard something pop, Dr. Abyar said that it could be the incorrect movement of the knee.
