Police investigate robbery, shootout outside Flanigan’s in Miramar

Miramar police are investigating a shootout outside a Flanigan’s at a shopping plaza early Thursday.

Two people were leaving Flanigan’s at Miramar Park Place, in the area of Miramar Parkway and Red Road, at around 12:39 a.m., police said, when they were approached by two suspects who robbed them at gunpoint.

“While the suspects were leaving, a victim fired several rounds at the suspect vehicle,” police said.

The robbers returned fire before fleeing the scene, according to authorities.

No one was hurt in the shootout.
