Today, we’re spending time with Johnny Service at Aby’s, located in downtown Rapid City. Aby’s occupies a significant portion of the downtown area and offers a variety of entertainment options.

Aby’s is not just a bar; it’s a venue that brings a variety of entertainment to its patrons. Located in what Johnny calls the “Circle Downtown,” Aby’s is surrounded by Woodland Republic, Circle Tattoo Shop and Century 21.
This collective effort creates a lively atmosphere perfect for spending your Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Weekly Events and Entertainment
Aby’s hosts a range of events throughout the week. On Wednesdays, they have karaoke nights, where the garage door is opened to blend the indoor and outdoor experiences.
Thursdays feature open mic nights, giving local talents a platform. Fridays and Saturdays are club nights from 11 p.m. till close, with special guests and bands performing earlier in the evening.

The front bar, Aby’s Fifth Street Bar, is open more frequently, from Wednesday through Sunday, while the back area is reserved for larger events like bingo nights, receptions, graduation parties and even weddings and funerals.
