Kim Kardashian stars in the latest campaign from her Skims brand. The reality TV star and mogul posed in a series of snapshots for the latest collection courtesy of Skims Swim Shop, which launches with new items available on Skims’ official website on Wednesday.
For the campaign, Kardashian and the Skims team tapped two creatives to style Kardashian’s looks and capture the images. Nick Knight photographs Kardashian in various sultry poses. The style of the photos is reminiscent of the British photographer’s work in the early 2000s, during which he collaborated on campaigns with such fashion houses as Dior.
Stylist Carine Roitfeld, who previously worked as the stylist for French Elle, styled Kardashian’s looks to complement Knight’s photographer. The result is a capsule of new swim looks from the brand. The latest drop of Skims Swim Shop features swimwear in fiery ruby shades as well as reptilian inspiration found in the snakeskin print suits.
Throughout the images for the campaign, Kardashian is styled wearing swim pieces as stand-alone sets as well as with a long-sleeve shrug. The new collection features more than 30 new styles, including five new swimwear pieces and seven new Summer Mesh cover-up styles. The collection also marks the first time the brand features underwire bikini tops for additional support, shape and lift. Sizes offered for the swim pieces range from XXS to 4X.
Cofounded by Kardashian, Skims officially launched its shapewear in September 2019 and has been expanding ever since. Over the course of the last few years, the company has expanded into swimwear, tapping other famous photographers for campaigns.
In June 2023, Kardashian and the Skims team worked with photographer Steven Klein to photograph Skims’ line of rubberized and faux leather swimsuits. More recently, singer Sabrina Carpenter starred in the brand’s latest underwear campaign, inspired by a ’90s aesthetic.
