Bell to headline Pratt County Fair entertainment – Tri-County Tribune

Jaron Bell is a lifelong country music fan, a man dedicated in his faith, a natural funny guy, and the headline entertainment for this week’s Thursday night performance at the Pratt County Fair.

A self-proclaimed social media sensation, Bell, who calls himself a Country Comedy Act in a Dad-Bod Bundle, has garnered more than 8.9 million views on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube with his music reviews, original song performances and live comedy.

Bell also has local ties to Pratt and looks forward to making the most of a hometown-like venue for his show on Thursday at the Pratt County Fairgrounds just south of town.

“I’m so blessed in this industry,” Bell said. “When I finally just started being myself, that is when the business just started coming to me. I’m a real big guy. I believe God is good, but he didn’t make me pretty, he made me funny.”

Bell, who is married to Chelsea Schrack, daughter of Chris and Marsha Schrack of Pratt, has two sons that look up to him and enjoy watching him performed, when allowed.

“They love telling their friends about the 30,000 followers I have on social media, but when I go to perform, they are always asking, ‘Is it in a bar or can we come?’”

With a following built on comedy about golf scores, bad days, parody music reviews, Bell said his faith is a super important part of his life so he doesn’t get crazy or vulgar in his shows.

“I have some ‘go to’ pieces so I know of know where I’m going on stage,” Bell said. “But sometimes there’s a detour and that we have to work at getting back on track. I draw the line at harming other people with what I say, but I believe the God of the universe enjoys our fun and I love to make others laugh.”

Bell has two songs on the top charts at this time, Big Boy Season (XXXL) and Country Counseling. He also performs cover songs and fills the set with additional music he has created with his band.

He started making music at a 19-year-old in Central, Texas, and has always loved making jokes. When the pandemic hit, he transitioned his talents to social media and experienced immediate success.

“The tide really turned in November 2023 when I put out a comedy sketch video at 7 p.m. one night, and the next day by 8 a.m. it racked up 2.2 million views,” Bell said. “Then people started requesting live performances and I’ve been playing fairs, private events, festivals and such ever since.”

Bell is on the road about every weekend now, but he still has a day job as a cars salesman for Conklin Motors in Salina, Kansas.

“I’ve really only had two jobs in my whole life, car salesman and entertainer. They kind of go hand in hand,” Bell said.

Bell said his lifelong dream has always to be a full-time entertainer so, by the grace of God, he is headed in the right direction. He has received direct support in the entertainment industry by other performers such as Parker McCollum, Eli Young Band, Casey Donahew, Randy Rogers Band, Craig Morgan, Kevin Fowler, David Allen Coe, Roger Creager, and many more.

His Pratt County Fair performance on Thursday is free, courtesy of the Pratt County Fair Board, start time 8 p.m. west of the livestock show barn. All are welcomed to this family-friendly event.
