Fitness unicorn Cult.fit has introduced a new smartwatch, Sprint, designed specifically for runners and fitness enthusiasts to enhance their workout experience.

The Sprint smartwatch offers a range of features including tracking multiple sports modes, guided breathing exercises, and female health tracking. Additionally, it supports Bluetooth calling and provides precise geo-positioning through its advanced GPS technology.

“The watch ensures accurate data tracking for all your running, walking, and cycling activities,” Cult.fit stated in a press release.

Abhilash Panda, Cult.fit’s Business Head, said, “With its advanced GPS technology and premium design, the Sprint is more than just a smartwatch—it’s a reliable companion for your fitness journey.”

Recent Developments and Funding

This launch comes just over four months after Cult.fit raised INR 84.5 Cr (approximately $10.2 Mn) in its Series F funding round, backed by investors like Valecha Investments, Extreme Brands LLP, and L&K Wellness Services Private Limited, among others. This brings Cult.fit’s total funding to $670 Mn across multiple rounds. The company also counts Zomato, Temasek, and Kalaari Capital among its investors.

In April, there was a reshuffle as co-founder and former CEO Mukesh Bansal was appointed as the new Executive Chairman, and Naresh Krishnaswamy, head of fitness services, was elevated to the position of CEO.

Company Background

Founded in 2016 by Mukesh Bansal and Ankit Nagori, Cult.fit offers a variety of fitness services including offline group workouts at Cult.fit centers and gym- or equipment-based workouts at partner gyms and fitness centers across India.
