PC Gamers Have 4 Free Games to Claim Right Now

Highlights

  • PC gamers can currently claim four free games on Steam and the Epic Games Store, but they should act quickly.
  • Three of the free games are only free for a limited time.
  • PC gamers will be treated to even more free game offerings later this year.

PC gamers that use both Steam and the Epic Games Store currently have four free games that they can claim right now, but they need to act fast. One of the big benefits of PC gaming is how users are often treated to free games. And unlike on consoles where “free” games are often locked behind subscription services, oftentimes the free PC games are truly, 100% free.

Across Steam, the Epic Games Store, and other digital storefronts, PC gamers regularly have free games to claim. Sometimes these free games may require signing up for a newsletter or downloading a specific launcher, but for the most part, they come with no strings attached. The current batch of free PC games luckily fall into the latter camp, with PC gamers having four free games that they can claim for their collections right now.

Here’s a list of all the games that have ever been made available for free on the Epic Games Store.

Two of the free PC games are available on Steam, while the other two are up for grabs on the Epic Games Store. On Steam, PC gamers can claim All Walls Must Fall indefinitely, while Pizza Hero is free until July 27, at which point it will become a paid game. All Walls Must Fall is a tactics game with a “Mostly Positive” overall rating, while Pizza Hero is shoot ’em up roguelike ala Vampire Survivors with a “Very Positive” rating. On the Epic Games Store, meanwhile, PC gamers can snag Arcade Paradise and Maid of Sker until July 25.

Arcade Paradise is a game about running an arcade that lets players actually play the arcade machines. It even features local co-op and multiplayer, so PC gamers needing something new to play with friends should definitely be sure to check it out. Arcade Paradise earned a 4.3 rating from Epic Games Store users. Maid of Sker is a first-person survival-horror game that doesn’t have an Epic Games Store user rating for some reason, but has “Very Positive” overall reviews on Steam and “Mixed” reviews when only taking recent reviews into account.

PC gamers will have more freebies to claim later this month. While the jury is still out on potential free Steam games, Epic Games Store users already know what to expect from next week’s lineup. From July 25 to August 1, Epic Games Store users will be able to claim the Metroidvania game FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch, as well as an Outfits Pack for Olympics GO! Paris 2024. Those two freebies will replace Arcade Paradise and Maid of Sker on July 25, and will be available for PC gamers to claim until they’re replaced on August 1 by whatever’s coming that day.
