Report: Several cars broken into in Spartanburg Planet Fitness parking lot
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Spartanburg Police Department is investigating after several cars were broken into in the parking lot of a Planet Fitness on Sunday.
According to an incident report, an officer was called to the Planet Fitness located at 1200 East Main Street. Upon arrival, four victims told the officer that their driver-side key holes were tampered with.
Police said between 3 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., the suspect stole wallets, a code reader used at a mechanic stop and a gun from the four cars.
In the report, staff at Planet Fitness said they didn’t have video camera on the exterior of the building.
