Police seize gambling machines, guns, cash in illegal gambling location raid

SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – More than $7000.00 was found during an illegal gambling location raid in Akron Wednesday evening, according to Akron police.

Officers sad they also took nearly two dozen gambling machines, two handguns, and electronics from the facility in the 200 block of E. Market St.

A 56-year-old woman was arrested and charged with operating an illegal gambling house.

Police added the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests and charges are likely.
