Art Seen | Crow’s Nest Summer Beach Party returns with live entertainment

The beach by the jetty is filled with revelers Thursday during the weekly Crow’s Nest Summer Beach Party. Each summer on Thursday evenings, the Crow’s Nest offers its Summer Beach Party series with fun and funky live entertainment on the beach.

Starting at 5:30 p.m. and lasting until sunset each week the beach is enlivened with live entertainment on the outdoor beach stage and Crow’s Nest’s BBQ and outdoor bar. Families are welcome, and there is no admission charge.

Rock and funk band the Houserockers take to the beach stage on Aug. 1, followed in subsequent weeks by the John Michael Band, featuring funk, soul and reggae, acid jazz and classic R&B with The Joint Chiefs, classic rock covers with Rusty Rock N Roll, rock and roll covers with The Dylan Rose Band, Americana rock with Anthony Arya Band, samba, reggae and funk with Sambada, and mashup covers of classic rock, funk and soul with Sweet Voodoo.
