We know some of you are dreading back-to-school shopping. The spiked prices. The soon-to-be empty shelves that leave you scrambling. The whining kiddo who wants the most expensive gear there is. No thanks! Which is why we squealed (Do. Not. Judge.) when we heard about Target’s newly launched “personalization stations.” *Cue confetti*

For this back-to-school shopping season, the retailer will have Personalization Stations where kids can pick the gear they want to customize — and then choose different pins, patches, stickers, and keychains to show off their own style.
Through September 8, Target will have the stations in select stores, and on August 3, there will be a special event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with all the regular fun of the stations plus extra free decals.
And don’t worry. If your local Target isn’t on the list, the retailer also has an online destination filled with the same enviable add-ons all starting at just $2.
Ink & Barrel Self-Adhesive Icon Patch
$2
There are a bazillion different self-adhesive patches (yes, that’s the correct count) that students can easily add to their backpacks, lunch bags, pencil cases, and more — no sewing or ironing required. Just let the long-lasting sticky backing do its thing.
Mondo Llama Vinyl Stickers Positivity
$2
And what about things like notebooks and water bottles (like the beloved kids Owala)? They deserve a custom touch too. Enter: Mondo Llama’s many vinyl stickers. Each sheet has six stickers for just two bucks.
Funko Disney Monsters Inc. 3 Inch Funko POP Pin | Boo in Monster Suit
And if you’re down for a tiny splurge, we’re obsessed with this Funko Pop pin of Boo from Monsters Inc. 3. Just look at her eyes! (Both real and googly.)
The best thing about these personalization stations — besides the unbeatable prices and the fun-filled event on August 3 — is that the personal touches are bound to get kids excited for the upcoming school year. And we know just how hard it can be to pump kids up to return to their desks after they’ve spent months playing in the sun. So we’ll gladly take every little sticker, pin, patch, and keychain we can get.
