Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum inducts class of 2024

PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – Friends, family, and fans gathered together to watch eight new members be inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.

Saturday, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum celebrated and honored the new inductees. The festivities began Saturday morning with the Meet the Inductees event and the Induction Banquet Saturday night.

MSHOF Inductees:

• Red Barber (Baseball Broadcasting)
• Richard Duease (Coaching & Basketball | MRA Basketball Coach)
• Paul Elias (Pro Fishing | Southern Miss Graduate)
• Eli Manning (Football | Former Ole Miss Quarterback)
• Jimmy Smith Jr. (Football | Former JSU Wide Receiver)
• Savante Stringfellow (Track & Field, Olympian | Ole Miss T&F Member)
• Becky Vest (Tennis | Provine Graduate)
• Jimmy Webb (Football | Former MSU Defensive Lineman)
